When The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act were passed into law, most citizens believed that the cost of the annual policy quote for health insurance would trend downward. Most citizens wanted to believe that help was on the horizon and the delivery system for the medical community would also begin to improve. Change is being instilled into our new pattern of medical care, but a lot still continues to be left in a state of limbo.
Individuals, small business owners, and the self-employed entrepreneurs continue to be abandoned from the early promises that were made directly to the public. The price for an inexpensive health insurance policy continues to increase. The amount of coverage offered to every individual is consistently being decreased. This leaves the small businesses and the self-employed in a void.
Where is the assistance for these two groups of dedicated and creative individuals? Today, many small businesses have closed their doors. Other small businesses are trying to remain in business, but the difficulty continues to mount. The self-employed entrepreneurs are suffering the same unfortunate fate. Soon the country will be void of creative entrepreneurs and only the large corporations will be left.
The desire and need to acquire a self-employed health insurance policy will soon be something of the past. This will occur because many of the small business owners and self-employed entrepreneurs are leaving to begin again on foreign shores. The remainder of the creative community are putting down their tools and walking away. All this is happening because the cost of insurance continues to climb higher with each insurance policy renewal.
Why does this country work so hard to eliminate opportunities of employment for so many? Soon, we the people will have more citizens who are unemployed than employed through no fault of their own. There is a small chance of purchasing a self employed medical insurancepolicy through the state run exchanges. The state run exchanges will not be inventoried and functional for a few more years.
What will happen to all those creative minds when the small business owners and the self-employed entrepreneurs become ill and require the assistance of a medical physician? Will the lack of insurance coverage prevent these individuals from receiving the united health insurance and care they require to become well again?
Some of the small business owners will try to operate their business as a business of one and the self-employed entrepreneur’s will follow closely behind. This will create an opportunity for these individuals to purchase an insurance policy through the business of one status in the states that offer the option.
